Over the course of two immersive days, MMSS MODEL G20 2026 brings together some of the brightest young minds from across the region to confront the challenges reshaping the global order through collaboration, negotiation, and strategic thinking.

Designed to mirror the functioning of the Group of Twenty, the world’s premier forum for international economic cooperation, the conference moves beyond traditional debate. Delegates will assume the roles of domain experts, working together to develop practical, evidence-based solutions that balance economic growth, development, sustainability, security, and technological progress.

Across ten specialised working groups, participants will negotiate the issues that dominate the contemporary agenda: industrial decarbonisation, the development finance gap, semiconductor and compute governance, maritime chokepoint security, critical digital infrastructure, resource security, the militarisation of space, transnational terrorism, the future of work, and pandemic preparedness.

Through working group discussions, bloc negotiations, communiqué drafting, and presentations to the plenary, participants will gain first-hand experience in consensus-building, analytical thinking, and multilateral diplomacy. The conference provides a platform where diverse national interests converge to shape actionable recommendations for a fractured world.
